Buckman Journal is an independent, award-winning publication anthologizing Portland writers and artists of all genres, published twice a year. To celebrate the dozenth installment of our journal, we opened submissions to all Portland and Pacific Northwest creatives. From those submissions, we have chosen a selection of both writing and artwork to be featured in Buckman Journal: Gorge, which will be released in July 2024. 

Our next open submission period will be later this year for the annual Buckman Poetry Prize. Keep an eye out for more details here and on our website for more details to come in the future.
